About the Artist
Libby Hague lives and works in Toronto. She has had over 50 solo exhibitions notably at the Art Gallery of Ontario, YYZ artist’s outlet, La Centrale (Montreal) and the Art Gallery of Mississauga. Her group exhibitions and spectacles include All That Glows, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia ; Monster Child, a giant inflatable, sponsored project for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, Toronto and the Biennale internationale d’estampe contemporaine de Trois-Rivières. Residencies include Banff, Araseanna, Ireland, Australian National University and recently Hospitalfields in Scotland. She has exhibited outside Canada in NYC (IPCNY); Novosibirsk Siberia; The Civic Art Museum, Cremona; Chung Shan National Gallery, Taiwan; Melbourne, Australia; and the Galati Visual Art Museum, Romania. Her work is in many public and private collections including the Donovan Collection at the University of Toronto and DFAT and the Art Bank in Ottawa.
She is an RCA (elect).
